and/or have already shown transferable teaching / coaching skills, we will consider this upon
application and we will support you to gain the relevant qualifications.
The role will involve teaching and coaching a variety of different groups across the club at different
pools across Bristol in the week and at weekends as well as supporting swimmers at competitions.
Personal Qualities Required
● Positive and hardworking.

● An effective communicator with swimmers, colleagues and parents.
● A reflective practitioner who seeks to improve through feedback and CPD.

This is a part-time role. The role is likely to be around 10 hours per week. A larger role, which includes
additional areas of responsibility, could be available for a candidate with the necessary administrative
and interpersonal skills.
Contract type and the salary is dependent on experience, level of qualification and exact number of
working hours agreed.
Penguins are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all
stakeholders to share this commitment. All applications are subject to relevant checks including
satisfactory completion of routine safeguard checks and providing two references.
